Well, I'm a guy, who lives in a small apartment, with a wife, and other families as neighboars that don't like too much this. Bought today a better headset to try to solve it somehow, but it's really annoying... her noises are nothing but simple "noises", it's even louder than her attack noises, serves to nothing, but to show sexual content. I'm sorry if somehow I don't make it clear, but, I do think it's not aggregating anything, only serving as a ridiculous stuff... if we want to listen those sounds in High Quality, we just leave TERA and find someone to do it in a bedroom... :)

And well, I have a good ear, it can distract me, while I'm trying to focus on the real stuff, like "attack patterns that start changing the BGM".

Your neighbours can hear it?? lol...
I can understand the small bikinis and small dresses (cause they sell), but the sounds....have to aggree that they are useless, serve to nothing...

the only thing that bothers me as a priest on RMHM is the stupid stagger mechanic... I'm still not sure if my ping makes it harder, or if i just need more train..

Slowly, more and more parts of Elite are being made redundant, and that isn't even the start of the issue.

Many people play this game for the dungeons. Not alot of people are geared, let alone skilled on more than one class. So when you're arbitrarily FORCED away from the ability to reset dungeons, continuing to play on what you're most comfortable on and have the most fun.

Personally, I used to run 4x HMs and then I used a reset scroll, and began learning runs with my guild. This didn't hurt my own progression as much because I had resets to fall back on. Now, I have to potentially throw away half of my runs of the day, on a character I know I can carry on, to teach someone. That hurts progression and is a mainstay factor of why alot of people are upset. I've seen people from my guild wanting to quit, I've seen them struggle to get into parties with people who would otherwise be perfectly happy to take them on a learning run, yet nobody is because you waste one of your very small pool of runs. It's horrendous. This kills any hope of inexperienced people wanting to do the endgame content.
And with it, it kills people's motivation to play.

thats what is happening. everyone who is runnin RMHM is runnin with a static... So, to find a party on LFG is almost impossible right now.. its really frustrantin....

The thing is: if you run with mystic you wont need full crit build. so you can change a few things.
usually i run with crit/power jewelry when I have a mystic. But I switch to full crit jewelry when i have a priest only...

I wouldn't call placing a camp fire and charming complexity... It was just something obnoxious that added nothing to the game other than delaying you from fighting. If all these were put into one consumable from the start no one would have complained about the "lack of complexity" because it really doesn't matter.

Taking 3 seconds to charm since the fires were usually placed before dying is hardly a penalty. Having Elite also had already removed that anyways since all 3 were applied without a fire as long as you weren't in combat. Death penalties also aren't complex anyways, they're just an outdated mechanism that isn't needed since dying is already enough of a penalty, especially with dungeons now a days targeting healers that try to res. You dying potentially gets your healer to die if they mess up. The whole taking a few seconds to charm and such also ruins the main selling point of Tera, its combat... You don't want people sitting around doing nothing but using 6 consumables.

now pls enlight me with why cut down the alchemy system...

And yes, as Denomennator said in another thread, it's Bluehole's intention for the new dungeons to not have resets until some period of time after their release. We're working with them to get our Instance Reset Scrolls working again on Tuesday (minus LK & RM).

They don't know. All BHS told them is they dont want LK and RM to be resettable for awhile.

"awhile" is not an answer for me... That can be days, weeks or months..
They come to the forum and even in game to announce that reset scrolls are comin back (not rm and lk) like its a big deal.... I dont want to reset DF... i dont want to reset SS.... so that is not an answer....
They all know that we want to reset RM and LK... so that answer.. is nothing.. is empty...

that happened to an archer when we were running SSHM (pre patch)... i made fun of him.. and now, in this patch, i did it once lol... so used to press 2 icons after ress.. i would totally move the buff out of that elite bar buuuuut... my bar is full xD
Someone here told me to try to reset UI setting and try everything again... I still didnt try that tbh.. so I dont know if it works...
One thing that I'm wondering: we know that RU and EU tera had the same problem with reset scrolls... did korean tera had the same problem? anybody knows that?
and we already had te same problem with others dungeons, and we solved it... so its likely that this problem is the same as the other.. and since they solved it before, they probably already know whats wrong... so why is it taking so [filtered] long to fix?

Maybe not, but consider this, too. For the whole week, it has been very, very, VERY hard for me to find groups for RMHM because everyone who can run it will only run it with close friends, and most of them have explained to me that they're doing that because they only have two instances for RMHM every day, and would prefer to use those two for their close friends. I'm not gonna go into more detail of how frustrating this can make things if you're not "in" one of the friend groups/guilds that can run this kind of content, but suffice it to say, it has made RMHM runs frustrating not because RMHM is extremely difficult (it's not really that difficult), but because it has made the people who run these dungeons VERY picky about who they will run the dungeon with

And its not only about RMHM... you can apply this on every dungeon out there....

I agree. It would have been nice if they'd just made new healer accessories instead of adding the possibility of healing rolls to mostly DPS accessories. It's such a pain now to even get your necklace +4 power.

As a healer I can say that I'm not happy aswell.... would love to get proper healing jewelry instaed of those stupid low healing rolls.

You shouldnt worry TOO MUCH about it... its something for late late game. I would advise you to get 2 pieces of same ring earring, and roll them together... since you're going to do it slowly.. roll the RING A till u get decent stats, like 4crit 2 power or somethin like that.. keep it.. use it... and roll the other one...

I have some statistics from when I had 35 + 276.5 crit which was about 70% heals if you want to have a look for Titanic Favour and Boomerang

But you're a mystic... u get a lot of crit from ur aura... as a priest i would need to change belt and inner to get the crit factor mystics have.. thats one of the reasons i think mystics will shine on this patch

for an example: if you run HM only, you will probably gonna need more hp then healing power, since almost everything one hit you... and since there are a lot of fixed dmg mechs on RMHM, you could use the extra hp from argosy... If you usually run IM, you will probably need the extra healing lines...

even tho, i wouldnt go full manor.. i would at least keep 2 or 3 arogsy... even if you roll all ur [filtered] with healing lines, that will mean around 10k increase of healing...

what i still want to test is the critical.. even tho 50% on 300 doesnt sound like its worth..

And i never said dps is easier or harder... but the way you said it, sounded that it was a piece of cake.. that you could stand still and smash some buttons... every role got their own difficulties... Just as tankers and healers... they are just different somehow...
and a bad dps can ruin a run just like a bad tank... TSHM? MM? RN second boss? SSHM dmg checks? SSHM second boss? And having less dmg means the fight will take longer.. so your party will have more room to make mistakes... having a bad dps is just not noticeable as a tank and a healer.
roles can be easier or harder in few aspects... but i do agree with you at one point.. the learning process... its much heavier on tank than dps and healers (only cause double heals)... And this is why eclipse would help :3
DPS: You just stick to backside, attack and evade, healers can take care of you, Even if you die there are 2 other DPSs to continue your job. If there isn't a timer or a shield that needs to be broken asap you can even be a little lazy or fodder geared.

If you are resuming dps like this, you my friend, are doing it wrong lol...

its different just because having a not so good tank could be easily dealt (sometimes) with eclipse... but a not so good dps and/or healer... You cant rly do anything about it... just search new ppl
not that we all should defend bad tanks... they, just like everyone, need to keep improving their skills... but eclipse would be like a cheap band-aid lol

From my calculations i would get 39.7k on focus heal and 180k hp with this setup.. agains my 36k focus and 189k hp... (argosy + 1 manowar) and 12 endurance against 24... I have no ideia how the defense modifier plays here against the endurance tbh...

EDIT.. i tried to calculate the healing increase on a better healing skill.. healing immersion... the increase of your setup is from 58k to 64k...
@AikenXP well, if you want to test your values on my spreedsheet i could send it to you. I wont make a google docs out of it cause im too lazy right now... and I tested the formulas with my current gear and everything worked out... all number were correct... make sure to test on someone that has no recieving heal bonus...

at RMHM last boss there are some fixed dmg you should take (the dragon heads)... few other mechs aswell... Dont know about LKHM tho...
the point here is..... even if you all say they are just losin aggro because they are bad tanks, that still doesnt solve my problem! i can tell them to get good and/or point out their mistakes... but yeah, everyone from this community are rly nice and are rly willin to listen to advices.... thats super normal, right....
eclipse was a way to solve this problem WITHOUT dependin on others... thats the point..
I think i saw this same topic somewhere else. its that solo dungeon.. you just go inside and use the totem at the beggining. he will give u the option to teleport to the phase where u left

These Abilities do come in handy.

My problem is only with few skills.. When i crit scythe and get a good crit (5, 6M+) and when my zerker friend hits a good crit on TS (10m+)
then we get aggro, and few secs later the tank regain it... But its enough to make the boss turn around..

with eclipse we coudlt solve this easily... but now.. we would need to ask the tank to change crystals? at the end of the fight? how majority of tanks would take this? They would probably just tell me to [filtered] off and keep same crystals lol

My best friend in game is a zerker and lately every crit he gives on TS is one aggro steal lol... And when Im with my warrior sometimes, every crit scythe is another aggor steal.. its rly annoying...
I'm on TR and we also have problems with tanks. And its not a new problem tbh.. I like to call that "the brawler nerf exodus"
tbh I'm still trying to understand what they want from healers in this patch. Because it looks like they just got lazy to do a new set of jewelry for healers, and addin healing rolls was a way to fix things.. Not that it rly fix anything.. Because we will lose HP and end compared to others. But in the other hand, if that was the case - lazyness - they wouldnt need to "remove" hyderad and argosy. but they did, so seems they are forcing us to change jewelry.
And what comes in my mind with that decision from Bluehole is that they might be trying to make healers life a lil bit more dificult. Because, lets be honest, this last patch - sshm and df - was RLY smooth for healing. Double healing on a dungeon that has almost 0 healing was truly easy. No debuff mechs and no cleanse mechs. Healers were at a position that they didnt need gear at all.... you could do everything with Slaughter or even DN..
In this patch, the nerf on double healing and the dungeons points us to a single healing option (2 heals and only 2 dps takes WAY too long on those new dungeons). But RM seems to be a dungeon with a lot more healing to do, especially last boss...
So putting this together with the jewelry deal right now, seems Bluehole is forcing healer to GET BETTER GEAR.. You wanna heal more? so go get a +15 staff/scepter...
Honestly, we are going to see a LOT of trap healers in this patch, that just got lazy with double healing from the last patch and didnt rly learn how to be there for themselves. And imho i think that mystics gonna shine like never before. this crit setup of jewelry seems to be rly good for mystics. (yeah, im a priest. But dont take as a "nerf mystics" cry). I just think that its a fact in this patch. I was always against crit healing, but right now seems to be the way to go..
and about rollin double healing lines on new stuff... [filtered], i dont want to lose my hp just to get 2-4k on healing. Thats almost nothing! No increase.... tbh, i still have no clue on what to do for healing setup... i might get everything and test the crit factor before rolling. D:
@Dialoonia i like that suggestion tbh. but that new earring would only be 1k healing increase on focus heal.. not a big deal tbh xD But my hp would remain..

this patch most of mechanics on dugeons got fixed dmg.. so i guess thats why hes saying end doesnt rly matters...

the formulas:

( Skill Base ) x [ 1 + {[ ( Total # Heal Modifier ) * ( 1 + Total % Heal modifier ) ]/1000}] x ( 1 + Received Heal Modifier ) = Healing Done
( Total Flat HP * Total % HP) = Max HP

beware that if you have the 7 days login HP bonus, it gives you 5% based on you MAX HP

So I was bored at work when i saw this topic.. and I think i got a little bit too excited about all this math...
I used my character as base (cause I wanted to know what was better for me), so its a PRIEST with +15 imp weapon and SF set... Right now i use a ARGOSY + MAN O WAR setup (rip hyderad)

What i think about it:
To get a plus of 4k on base healing you would need to sacrifice a LOT of endurance and HP (16k in my case). BUT the crit factor jumps to 124... My real question right now is.. what is the % of healing crit i would get out of 124+ crit factor?
The increase of crit resist is nice aswell.. so im guessin this is a must for pvp scenario...(im not rly into pvp, sry if im saying something wrong)

what you guys think about it?


EDIT: i just realised i didnt add the set bonus on argosy+manowar.. but it doesnt change that much tbh

I'm enjoying that change. No more stopping at a campfire or drinking down a potion because I played for long enough that my character isn't in top condition anymore. Especially how you needed to be at 120 stamina for the best boost but if you did almost anything it would drop below that.

As a priest I still always use a healing skill after a ress... still trying to get rid of that lol

Many of the people reporting issues in this thread are using Comcast (US ISP). However, it is likely that people on other providers or in other countries are also experiencing issues. It depends on the network route taken between the user and TERA's servers and appears to be a Zayo problem.

For people who are getting lag spikes, I recommend running PingPlotter in the background while playing TERA (use 208.67.49.145 for target IP). If you start having lag issues for more than a few seconds, alt-tab back to PingPlotter and see if you are getting packet loss. If your issue is similar to mine, you will likely see packet loss within Zayo's network.

So yesterday i was testing this and yeah, saw that packet loss within Zayos everytime i spiked...
even tho i didnt spiked a lot yesterday.. i was even able to play with my warrior without lookin STUPID AF.. skill chain ftw
just hope it stays like this on CU

Lazy guide? Pick any random class mixed with default appearance. Play it until reach level cap and constantly died with purpose in any dungeons. Oh wait!

wait...he said LAZY not STUPID. Even being lazy you dont need to keep dying on purpose D:
1. We need tanks... at least on TR.... healers are ok, not easy to find but ok.....on the other side tanks... its really hard to find good tanks.
2. I agree with Montblank; Brawler or Lancer.
3. Mystics are better in this patch, but they are harder to master aswell... If you are used to play healers in other games, you could try mystic, but if you're not, go priest.... mystics are fast and have a lot of utility, but they lack direct healing skills (2 healing skills and 1 hot - that i remember). priests are slower but they are "safe", with 3 direct heals, 2 hot (even tho one is useless), 1 god-mode shield...
4. I dont know the tank one but, there is not mauch to min-max on healers i guess. Ppl say elins got faster animations... baraka have a nice race-skill for healers, but his hitbox is so stupid (like their face).... i run a human priest and im fine with that tbh...she looks so cute <3
i jsut lvled my warrior to 65 and im having a lot of fun...
i tried gunner, ninja, brawler, zerker and slayer already.. and what I didnt like about all of them is having a "static" rotation..
so one friend told me to try warrior... its pretty boring to lvl, but at lvl 60 things get WAY better... cause SCYTHE...
warrior rotation is not as fixed as other characters, so I'm having a lot of fun trying to master the edge thing for scythe skill...
and since the rotation is around SCYTHE and the 2nd main skill blade drawn can reset (50% chance). you need to ajust your rotation...
feels rly diff from others characters i tried before...
While Civil Unrest is happening another issue I have seen is that you can invite people from other guilds to your party and summon them. I do not think that should be allowed. I do not believe you should be able to have that capability within this content.

I dont agree with this only... Being able to invite ppl from other guild is a way to play politics in this battle.. and summon skill from healers is a MUST... its pure strategy.... CU would be a lil bit boring without summon tbh...

about the "kick players who doesnt have a tower anymore" , i read a suggestion on forum somewhere: longer respawn time.... might be something

well, tbh zergin is not the only option... but its a valid strategy... and losing a tower doesnt mean the CU is over to your guild...
If you want a real chance to win CU you should rly engage to politics and try some alliances...

Carving is a flat 3% chance. Being a crit build or not doesn't affect how much it's going to increase your crit heal chance, because it has nothing to do with your crit rate.

For now, yes probably. But in the incoming patch crit healing will very much be a viable option since healing accessories are going to be nerfed to the core.

This is also the reason why I rolled my Imperator staff with Crit Factor instead of MP regen when a skill is used - because I don't want to bother re-rolling it again if I ever do go crit healing (even though I also think MP regen is the best fourth priest roll). With the incoming jewelries, there will be no more healing options available for them (eg. how Pinnace/Argossy is to Corvette/Galleon); just crit/power. Going full crit jewelries with healing/crit rolls and having a carving plus crit roll on weapon would not be so bad anymore compared to the state of it nowadays.

This is true... with new jewelry, carving will be an option again....
and mana isnt rly a problem for priests... i run a HP inner and 3 pouding... with charms, i hardly have any problem with mana...

Carving is a flat 3% chance. Being a crit build or not doesn't affect how much it's going to increase your crit heal chance, because it has nothing to do with your crit rate.

EDIT: I've never said that the crit build affects the crystal itself.. its just a matter of having only 3% crit (alone).. and having a whole crit build PLUS (not mathematicly - adding up - together) 3%...

because 3% more crit chance.... 3%........ alone.... its not worthy
the probability of puttin ur weapon +15 is probably higher than critting with only a carving crystal...

For SSHM I run with 1x swift and 3x pouding (just because the mobs on last boss)... 3x hardies and 1x relentless....
If im charmed i have no problem with mana...
i think that this year event will probably be something like that other "surprise" event.. invasion and [filtered]... they talked a lot about it.. started the hype on stream (plannin the invasion) and then dead.... nothing about it... the hype is gone and we are still waiting....

See that's the thing. Civil Unrest shouldn't be a farmable event just to get gear and rewards to catter to carebears. We already have an abusable rally quest for that.

It should be an excuse to PVP. And there is no reason to prevent people without a guild tower from pvping. Also, allowing people to stay after their guild tower is destroyed is the only way to combat zerg guilds.

Players these days are too focused about rewards. Just enjoy two hours of chaotic PVP. That is the reward in itself.

If you kick players without a guild tower out, it'll be dead content within two weeks.

I think that will be a dead content if they dont change it... besides the chaotic pvp, whats the point of joinin an event where there is no winner?

if you want to defend "IoD for priests" you should ask for a buff on dmg, similiar to ghilliglade, not a 100% drop rate on motes....

maybe increase the drop rate from mobs that drop them (not iod bams). but i already got some ses from regular mobs on random maps...

I tot only WEAPON was gettin buffed... i heard nothing about gloves or chest...
i personally like how the mote drop rate is now... I see it like a gift...if you get lucky you can speed up ur run... but you should not count on them...
25% seems kinda high... with only 1 mote you can kill AT LEAST 4 mobs... if u increase the drop rate to 25%, you will probably get another another mote... 4 mobs more... another mote.....
Have a high dps potential but we cant rly give you numbers..
one of my favorite gunners hits around 1.5 - 1.8m on SSHM first boss.. Once, i made a party with another gunner, with same gear and she did 300k....
so make sure to learn your rotation..... (guess thats applies to all classes tho)....
I was just discussin sshm cage dmg on other topic and now im pretty curious.
This skill reduces the ranged damage you take by 30%. Does it count on mechanics? I know it counts for the double circle thing (when you bait)...
But on ripping, when he swings his weapon to right or left.. does that count as a ranged dmg? what about the cage.....?

I used this skill a lot on AIHM, but right now is mainly on SSHM - 2nd boss lasers, 3rd boss circles..

Any other dungeons/mechanics you guys use it?
well.. this week i survived few hits on cage....
i had 175k hp + kaias + sanctuary (even tho i dont know if sanctuary dmg reduction works on cage)... and after 1 hit on cage i had like 15 - 20k hp... i dont know if the boss was enraged or not (didnt have enough time to notice that - cause i was so sure i was dead that i was preparing to charm lol)
BUUUT.. i took few other hits on cage - kaias + sanc - and still died lol... so im guess is around 180 - 220k...(not couting sanct)..

just because gloves are easier to make and enchant... and you will add ur healing power aswell...
even tho... i usually run SSHM and healing is not a big deal.. when ppl die, they die in 1 hit lol.. (ok.. not all the time... but you probably wont solo heal it a lot of times - so you have someone else helping u with that).

somethin that you NEED to know as a mystic, is when ppl are gettin debuff, so u can lock ur skill and prepare to cleanse...

MM is a fun dungeon, like someone already said; is all about mechanics and not the boss itself...
you should try MM, but keep in mind that this dungeon is all about how the PARTY make the mechanics.. its not about how YOU do it...
so its a team dungeon... even if youre full imp+15 you wont be able to carry everyone else..

yeah but, if no one is doing bait mechanic on last boss, u will lose a LOT of free dpsin time... or course all the other [filtered] counts, but bait mechanic is [filtered] important

if you gonna IM, do it but keep in mind u will probably not finish the dg... try to learn as much as u can..
all 4* dungeons got pretty have mechanics, so try to read a guide and watch some videos...
i would say DFHM, cause you will know half of the mechanics and stuff already...
MM is also fun and easy after some time... but i would never IM that thing...
get slaughter now and save materials for the new cycle..
